DESCRIPTION: This Notice includes a corrected link for the submittal
form (see Action Required below).
NOIE reporting requirements for unregistered
Distributed Generation are defined in the Commercial Operations (COPS) Market
Guide section 10.3.1(2). Protocol Section 16.5(2) provides further details that
define the threshold limits for this reporting requirement.
The requirement for reporting is effective beginning
with the quarter ending December 31, 2010, which makes the reporting
deadline January 14, 2011. As this reporting requirement is new with the Nodal
Market, this Notice is provided as a courtesy reminder for the initial
reporting period. Affected Market Participants should establish a follow up
reminder of this requirement for timely reporting at the end of each subsequent
quarter.
ACTION REQUIRED: NOIEs
must complete the Non-Opt-In
Entity Distributed Generation Reporting Form and submit to ERCOT via
email to [log in to unmask]
no later than January 14, 2011. The instruction page of the form provides
information on the criteria for which DG sites should be included
in this report.

10.3.1 Reporting

(2) Within ten Business
Days after the end of each quarter, the NOIE shall submit to ERCOT
electronically, the required data described below as of the last day of the
prior quarter.
16.5 Registration
of a Resource Entity
(2) Beginning
on the Texas Nodal Market Implementation Date, DG with an installed capacity
greater than one MW, the DG registration threshold, must register with ERCOT.
… ERCOT shall produce quarterly reports on the total unregistered
installed capacity of DG greater than 50 kW below the current threshold, summed
by Load Zone.
