SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Increased number of days for price displays on ercot.com

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  December 22, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has increased the number of days for which Real-Time Market (RTM) and Day-Ahead Market (DAM) prices are stored on the ercot.com pricing displays:

Real-Time Prices Displays: http://www.ercot.com/mktinfo/rtm

Day-Ahead Market Results Displays:  http://www.ercot.com/mktinfo/dam/

Displays linked on Market Information Page:  http://www.ercot.com/mktinfo/. 

RTM Settlement Point Prices (SPPs), DAM SPPs and DAM Market Clearing Prices for Capacity (MCPCs) will now be available in the tabular display for five days instead of the current two or three days. Moving to five days of displayed data brings the ercot.com price displays consistent with the availability of data from the Market Information System (MIS) and External Web Services (EWS).

Note that if you are using bookmarks to the direct links (e.g., http://www.ercot.com/content/cdr/html/real_time_spp_today), those bookmarks will need to be adjusted due to this change. The new bookmark should not reference a date or day (e.g., _yesterday or _today). Instead, the bookmark should reference the display name in order to receive the current report (e.g., real_time_spp.html).
