SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation Details of NPRR257 and NOGRR025

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  January 3, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On January 3, 2011, ERCOT will implement portions of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 257, Synchronization with Nodal Operating Guide Section 9, Monitoring Programs and Changes to Posting Requirements of Documents Considered CEII (formerly “Synchronization with Nodal Operating Guide Section 9, Monitoring Programs”), and Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 025, Monitoring Programs for QSEs, TSPs, and ERCOT, which were approved by the ERCOT Board on November 16, 2010, and September 15, 2009, respectively.

The Protocol and Operating Guide sections to be implemented are as follows:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, and Operating Guide Section 1.3.6, Nodal Operating Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
