SHORT DESCRIPTION:  UPDATE – Certain MIS Market reports not posted due to database server outage

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  December 11, 2010

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Due to a server outage from 09:25 to 14:20 CST on Saturday, December 11, 2010, a subset of the 5-minute, 15-minute and hourly reports from the Market Management System (MMS) and the Energy Management System (EMS) were not published to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS).

Reports that have rerun capabilities have been or are in the process of being posted to the MIS. Please see the attached list for details.

The missed LMP reports have been posted in CSV format only and are not available via External Web Services (EWS) for this timeframe. The missed SPP reports have been posted in both CSV and XML formats and are available via the EWS Get SPP web service.

Additionally, the MIS Dashboards and ercot.com price displays were not populated with data during this timeframe. This also impacted the EWS Get System Parameters web service.   

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Note that ERCOT does not have the capability to rerun 5-minute, 15-minute and hourly reports from the EMS system, so these missed reports will not be posted to the MIS.
