SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Change to LMP Ticker on MIS

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  January 19, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will release a new version of the Locational Marginal Price (LMP) Ticker available on the Market Information System (MIS) on January 19, 2011. The current version allows users to display up to 50 LMPs, but this requires the ticker to wait three minutes between refreshes. After many requests to increase the refresh rate, ERCOT is adjusting the LMP Ticker to update every 60 seconds. However, the higher refresh rate will limit the number of displayable LMPs to between 20 and 25, depending on the length of the Settlement Point name.
