SHORT DESCRIPTION:  MIR outage with impacted services    

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  February 7, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an outage of the Market Information Repository (MIR) on February 7, 2011, from 00:40 until 02:35. A site failover was successfully completed, and MIR is running properly.

During the outage, Market Participants may have experienced issues with the following services:

·         report publishing to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS)

·         downloading of extracts and reports from TML Report Explorer, PI API, MIS and External Web Services (EWS)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Please see the attached spreadsheet for the list of impacted Current Day Reports (CDR) with intervals and details on which reports were rerun and reposted if applicable. 

The MIS Dashboards and ercot.com price displays were not populated with data during this timeframe.
