SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Certain MIS Market reports not posted due to database server outage

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  January 29, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT encountered a database server outage from 16:45 until 18:18 CST on Saturday, January 29, 2011. During this time, Security Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) failed to run successfully from 16:45 until 18:35 CST. This resulted in a subset of the 5-minute, 15-minute and hourly reports from the Market Management System (MMS) and the Energy Management System (EMS) not publishing to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS).

Because SCED was not run successfully during this time and therefore data was not available, most reports will not be rerun and reposted to the MIS. The only exception are the Settlement Point Prices at Resource Nodes, Hubs and Load Zones which were rerun and reposted to the MIS today in both CSV and XML format. Please see the attached list for details.

The MIS Dashboards and ercot.com price displays were not populated with data during this timeframe. This also impacted the EWS Get System Parameters web service. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  If you are attempting to retrieve the reposted Settlement Point Prices at Resource Nodes, Hubs and Load Zones, you will need to use January 31, 2011, in the date parameters field.
