SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation of defect repairs

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  April 20 – 22, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be migrating corrections to a number of market-facing defects. These patches will be implemented in the production environment between April 20 and 22, 2011. Please see the attached spreadsheet for the description and estimate of the release date for each defect.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Intermittent system availability may be incurred due to implementation of the attached defects. The systems include, but are not limited to:

·         Market Participant notifications

·         Outage Scheduler User Interface

·         Components of the MIS will intermittently NOT be available including:

·         Report publishing to the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS)

·         Current Day Reports without retry functionality may not be rerun for the missed postings during the outage time

·         MIS Secure area dashboards will be intermittently unavailable

·         USA functionalities

·         Extract Subscriber

·         Market Data Transparency

·         During this outage, please use the following URLs to directly access the Market Manager and Outage Scheduler:
