NOTICE TYPE:  R-A04192011-02 FINAL -ESIID Lookup, Find ESIID and Find Transactions
SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT experienced degradation in service for the ESIID Lookup, and TML/ MIS Find ESIID and Find Transactions functions from 08:30am to 10:30am on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  LSEs and TDSPs
DAY AFFECTED:  April 19, 2011from 08:30am to 10:30am
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced degradation in service for the ESIID Lookup, and TML/ MIS Find ESIID and Find Transactions functions from 08:30am to 10:30am on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
A TML/MIS component experienced backlog issues due to slow messaging processing within the EAI application.  Some transactions were accepted, but held in queue, while the component was started on another server.
 Affected functions returned to normal at 10:30am.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ERCOT is currently investigating the root cause with the vendor.  Details will be reported to the market in the IT Incident Summary Report.

DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is experiencing a degradation of Retail Processing, ESIID Lookup, and TML/ MIS Find ESIID and Find Transactions beginning at  08:30 today, April 19, 2011.
ERCOT is currently working on multiple options to restore the services to normal. Retail processing is functioning in a degraded state.
