SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT Board approval of price corrections for de-energized Settlement Point Prices in DAM and RTM affected by data error

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRRAH and QSE Settlement Personnel

DAYS AFFECTED:  Operating Days December 1, 2010 – February 1, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On March 31, 2011, ERCOT issued Notice W-C033111-01 announcing its intention to request a price correction on some Settlement Point Prices assigned to de-energized Settlement Points in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for Operating Days December 1, 2010, through February 1, 2011, and Real-Time Market (RTM) for Operating Days December 1, 2010, through January 31, 2011, at the next regularly scheduled ERCOT Board of Directors (ERCOT Board) meeting. The price correction request was considered by the ERCOT Board at its April 19, 2011, meeting.  All supporting documentation may be located at http://www.ercot.com/calendar/2011/04/20110419-BOD under Agenda Item No. 16a.

The ERCOT Board approved the price correction as recommended by ERCOT Staff.

The corrected Settlement Point Prices will be posted in CSV and XML formats in the DAM Price Corrections folder and the RTM Price Corrections folder located at http://www.ercot.com/mktinfo/prices/. Please note that the posting of corrected Settlement Point Prices in XML format is a one-time workaround and future republication of price corrections in XML format will be contingent upon the approval and implementation of System Change Request (SCR) 761.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  At a later date, ERCOT will provide an updated Notice describing the schedule of resettlements of DAM Statements for Operating Days December 1, 2010, through February 1, 2011, and RTM Statements for Operating Days December 1, 2010, through January 31, 2011.
