SHORT DESCRIPTION:  REMINDER – ERCOT Black Start Services Request for Proposal (RFP) for 2012.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Potential Black Start Service Bidders

DAY AFFECTED:  On or before June 1, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On April 7, 2011, ERCOT issued a Black Start Services RFP for the contract period of January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2013.  As a reminder, and pursuant to paragraph (1) of Nodal Protocol Section 3.14.2, Black Start, responses to this RFP are due on or before June 1, 2011.  In consideration of NPRR369, Black Start Service Requirement Revisions, for those Entities who submit timely bids, ERCOT will allow a supplemental bid window at a later date to take into account potential impacts associated with the NPRR.

In addition, ERCOT will be hosting a WebEx to discuss comments submitted as follows:

June 3 – NPRR369 comments due by 12:00PM

June 6 – compiled comments distributed by Close of Business (COB)

June 8 – WebEx meeting to discuss comments
