SHORT DESCRIPTION: Additional implementation details of NPRR285

INTENDED AUDIENCE: QSEs and QSE Settlement Personnel

DAYS AFFECTED: May 18 and June 1, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION: Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 285, Generation Resource Base Point Deviation Charge Corrections, is being implemented on two different dates. Some of the impacted Protocol changes were effective as of May 18, 2011, and the remaining impacted Protocol changes will be made effective on June 1, 2011.

The following is a breakdown of the NPRR285 Protocol section implementation dates.

Effective May 18, 2011:

6.5.7.9(7), Compliance with Dispatch Instructions
6.5.5.2(3), Operational Data Requirements
6.5.7.4, Base Points

Effective June 1, 2011:

6.6.5.1, General Generation Resource Base Point Deviation
6.6.5.1.1(2), Base Point Deviation Charge for Over Generation
6.6.5.1.2(2), Base Point Deviation Charge for Under Generation
6.6.5.2, IRR Generation Resource Base Point Deviation Charge

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
