SHORT DESCRIPTION: A new Web-Based Training course on day-ahead operations (Generation 201) is now available

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has published a Web-Based Training version of the Generation 201 course. Generation 201 focuses on the activities and processes of the Day-Ahead Market and Day-Ahead Reliability Unit Commitment. A web-based training course on Real-Time Operations (Generation 101) is already available. Generation 101 and Generation 201 are designed to supplement the Basic Training Program, a comprehensive course on the basics of the ERCOT market, for companies who own or operate Generation Resources in ERCOT.

ACTION REQUIRED: To access this and other training courses, go to the training page of the ERCOT website at http://www.ercot.com/services/training/. You will find the newly added course in the “Web-Based Training (Wholesale Market)” section. Select the name of the course for additional details, or click the “Register Online” link to be routed to ERCOT’s Learning Management System to register for any of the courses. You may also access the Learning Management System directly to register for any ERCOT training course.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This course is part of a series of instructor-led and web-based training courses available to Market Participants.
