SHORT DESCRIPTION:  REMINDER - Emergency Event Coordination Workshop and Web Ex (formerly titled Load Shed Event Coordination Workshop)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Transmission Service Providers (TSP) 

DAY AFFECTED:  August 3, 2011, 09:00 – 12:00 CDT

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will host an Emergency Event Coordination Workshop for TSPs on August 3, 2011; from 09:00 to 12:00 CDT at the ERCOT MET Center to examine the mechanics of the interaction between ERCOT and TSPs during load shed events, as well as improvements that can be made to this interaction. This workshop will discuss the Energy Emergency Alert (EEA) capacity shortage event of February 2011, lessons learned from this event and recommendations for preventing and handling similar events in the future.

Note that the title of the workshop has been changed from Load Shed Event Coordination Workshop to Emergency Event Coordination Workshop for TSPs.

Workshop participants are not required to register in advance.
