SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT's Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) database experienced an unplanned outage on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 08:45 to 09:20 and 09:37 to 10:02.

DAY AFFECTED:  September 26, 2011 from 08:45 to 09:20 and 09:37 to 10:02
LONG DESCRIPTION:   ERCOT's Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) database experienced an unplanned outage on Monday, September 26, 2011 from 08:45 to 09:20 and 09:37 to 10:02. Retail Transaction processing was delayed for some transactions during that time.
The impacted functions are now operational.
The root cause was a configuration change made to the Retail API/UI web component during the scheduled maintenance outage on September 25.

Processing of impacted transactions resumed immediately following the outage, and ERCOT has verified that all transactions have been processed successfully.  No action by market participants is necessary.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A root cause has not yet been determined. ERCOT is currently researching whether transaction SLA timing was affected.

ERCOT is currently working to resolve the issue.
