SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details of SCR765

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  December 8, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On December 8, 2011, ERCOT will activate a new public dashboard in accordance with System Change Request (SCR) 765, Public Aggregated Wind Dashboard, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on June 21, 2011.

SCR765 adds a new wind aggregated dashboard to ERCOT.com that displays the following information on a system-wide level.

In graphical form updated every hour for current and next day:

·         Aggregate Wind-powered Generation Resource (WGR) Power Output (Hourly averaged value)

·         Aggregate Short-term Wind Power Forecast (STWPF), from both the current and Day-Ahead (Hourly value)

·         Aggregate Wind-powered Generation Resource Production Potential (WGRPP), from both the current and Day-Ahead (Hourly value)

·         Aggregate Current Operating Plan (COP) High Sustained Limits (HSLs) for On-line WGRs, from both the current and Day-Ahead (Hourly value)

In numerical form updated with each Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) run:

·         Aggregate WGR Power Output (Snapshot value)

The Public Aggregated Wind Dashboard will be located on ERCOT.com in the Grid Information/Current System Conditions section. It will also be located on the Applications/Dashboard Portlets section on the Market Information System (MIS).
