NOTICE DATE: December 13, 2011 NOTICE TYPE: M-A101211-05 Extracts/Reports - Retail/Wholesale SHORT DESCRIPTION: UPDATE - URL change for ERCOT report downloads INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants who download reports via MIS or EWS DAYS AFFECTED: December 7 - 13, 2011 LONG DESCRIPTION: Due to issues encountered with application concurrency on shared servers, ERCOT has adjusted the URL changes as follows. Market Information System (MIS) and ERCOT Website Users: * The changes listed in Notice M-A101211-04 (see below) were scheduled to take place on December 7, 2011. These changes are being postponed while ERCOT resolves all outstanding configuration changes. Once validated, ERCOT will release to production. An additional communication will be sent at that time. External Web Services (EWS) Users: * The GetReport URL change was delayed by one day and will occur this afternoon, December 13, 2011. However, the URL included in Notice M-A101211-04 (see below) will not be implemented until the changes to the MIS and the ERCOT Website are ready to be released. ERCOT will use the following URL until further notice: https://misapi.ercot.com/misapp/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=? ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The planned certificate upgrade was successfully implemented on Thursday, December 8, 2011. See Notice M-A101211-04 below for further details about the scheduled changes. Market Information System (MIS) and ERCOT Website Users: * On Wednesday, December 7, 2011, the current UI URL for report downloads will change from: https://mis.ercot.com/misapp/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=? To: https://mis.ercot.com/misdownload/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=? Market Participants should discontinue use of any saved 'bookmarks' and replace with the updated URLs. External Web Services (EWS) Users: * On Thursday, December 8, 2011, similar to the information provided in Notice M-A051011-07 and in support of upgrading all SSL Certificates to 2048-bit RSA keys, ERCOT is applying an upgrade to the EWS environment. ERCOT is removing the certificate mismatch currently being experienced by APIs hitting MISAPI.ERCOT.COM. * On Monday, December 12, 2011, the URL returned from an API query of GetReport List utilizing MISAPI.ERCOT.COM will change from: https://mis.ercot.com/misapp/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=? To: https://misapi.ercot.com/misdownload/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=? Market Participants should ensure that any code specifically looking for the certificate mismatch is disabled on December 8, 2011, due to this effort.
