SHORT DESCRIPTION: UPDATE – URL change for ERCOT report downloads

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants who download reports via MIS or EWS

DAYS AFFECTED: December 7 – 12, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION: As a follow up to the URL change issues addressed in Notice M-A101211-03, ERCOT is reinstating the URL change as follows.

Market Information System (MIS) and ERCOT Website Users:

· On Wednesday, December 7, 2011, the current UI URL for report downloads will change from:

https://mis.ercot.com/misapp/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=?

To:

https://mis.ercot.com/misdownload/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=?

Market Participants should discontinue use of any saved ‘bookmarks’ and replace with the updated URLs.

External Web Services (EWS) Users:

· On Thursday, December 8, 2011, similar to the information provided in Notice M-A051011-07 and in support of upgrading all SSL Certificates to 2048-bit RSA keys, ERCOT is applying an upgrade to the EWS environment. ERCOT is removing the certificate mismatch currently being experienced by APIs hitting MISAPI.ERCOT.COM.

· On Monday, December 12, 2011, the URL returned from an API query of GetReport List utilizing MISAPI.ERCOT.COM will change from:

https://mis.ercot.com/misapp/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=?

To:

https://misapi.ercot.com/misdownload/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupid=?

Market Participants should ensure that any code specifically looking for the certificate mismatch is disabled on December 8, 2011, due to this effort.
