SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an outage of MarkeTrak from 11:38 to 12:24 on Friday, December 9, 2011.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  LSEs and TDSPs                     

DAY AFFECTED:  December 9, 2011 from 11:38 to 12:24

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced an outage of MarkeTrak from 11:38 to 12:24 on Friday, December 9, 2011.

ERCOT’s MarkeTrak application is now processing at normal levels. 

ROOT CAUSE:  Additional licenses added to an external service caused the web service to become non-responsive.  A complete system reboot restored the system functionality.
