SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Miscellaneous Invoice for payout of PTP Option Award Fees for September 2011

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSE settlement personnel

DAY AFFECTED:  December 8, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued Miscellaneous Invoices that contain the disbursement of the Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction Award Fees for the month of September 2011.

Per Protocol Section 7.7.2, Disbursement of PTP Option Award Fee, which was effective for the September 2011 CRR Auction, ERCOT will distribute to Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) the sum of the Point-to-Point (PTP) Option Award fees on an ERCOT-wide monthly Load Ratio Share (LRS) based on the final settlement load for each Operating Day of a given month. The award fees will be distributed ten days after the final settlement of the last Operating Day of that month has been posted, or the next Bank Business Day. The total September 2011 Award Fees that will be paid to QSEs on December 8, 2011, is $45,501.98.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Protocol Section 7.7.2 was removed from the Protocols on December 1, 2011, with the implementation of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 320, Minimum PTP Option Bid and Settlement (formerly “Minimum PTP Option Bids and CRR Auction Fee”). ERCOT will continue to produce Miscellaneous Invoices to distribute CRR Auction Fees, according to Section 7.7.2, Distribution of PTP Option Award Fee, for all CRR Auctions executed and posted prior to the implementation of NPRR320 functionality. This includes the completion of CRR Auction settlement activity for the 2011 Balance of Year Auction as well as for the monthly auctions through November 2011.

The Miscellaneous Invoices can be found on the Market Information System (MIS) at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Market+Information/Settlements.

NPRR320 and associated documents can be found on the ERCOT website, under Market Rules, at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/issues/nprr/301-325/320/index.
