NOTICE DATE: January 6, 2012 NOTICE TYPE: W-C010612-01 Operations SHORT DESCRIPTION: Confirmation of communications related to PRC-023-1 R3 INTENDED AUDIENCE: NERC-registered Transmission Owners, Generator Owners and Distribution Providers DAY AFFECTED: January 6, 2012 LONG DESCRIPTION: As specified in the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Protection and Control Standard PRC-023-1 R3.1, ERCOT as the Planning Coordinator has determined the facilities that are critical to the reliability of the Bulk Electric System. According to the timeframe specified in R3.3, ERCOT contacted the entity (entities) that own facilities that are critical to the reliability of the Bulk Electric System. If your Compliance Group, Company Officer or System Planning Officer has not been contacted by ERCOT regarding such facilities, this Notice serves as confirmation that there are no such facilities in your area. If the list of facilities (R3.2) is modified in the future, ERCOT will individually contact each entity that has facilities on the list and will send confirmation (similar to this Notice) to all NERC-registered Transmission Owners, Generator Owners and Distribution Providers.
