NOTICE TYPE:  M-A012612-01 Outage Retail/Wholesale

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Database degradation impacting EWS report retrievals

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  All Market Participants

 

DAY AFFECTED:  January 26, 2012 from 09:09 through 10:16

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT experienced a database degradation within the reporting repository which resulted in a service degradation of the EWS. 

 

ERCOT will take an unplanned system maintenance outage beginning at 16:15 this afternoon in order to apply a patch to the reporting repository.  

 

During this outage window, Market Participants may experience intermittent issues for approximately 30 minutes with the following services:

 

·         Report publishing to the ERCOT MIS

·         Downloading of extracts and reports from ERCOT.com, MIS and WebServices

·         Market submissions and requests via WebServices, Market Manager and Outage Scheduler.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Additional communication will be sent when the maintenance activities have completed.
