NOTICE TYPE:  M-B030912-02 Outage – Retail/Wholesale

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  RESCHEDULED – Planned system maintenance with impacted services    


DAY AFFECTED:  March 15, 2012, 16:30 – 21:30 CDT

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be performing planned system maintenance of the Market Information System (MIS), Current Day Reports (CDR), and Market Information Repository (MIR) databases and applications on March 15, 2012, within a maintenance window of 16:30 – 21:30 CDT.

This maintenance was originally planned to occur on March 14, 2012. The date of the maintenance has been pushed back one day, but the time window remains the same.

During this outage window, Market Participants may experience intermittent issues for approximately two hours with the following services:

·         Market submissions and requests via WebServices, Market Manager and Outage Scheduler

·         Report publishing to the ERCOT MIS

·         Downloading of extracts and reports from MIS and WebServices.

Note that the two hour outage is scheduled to begin at approximately 16:30 CDT; however, this start time may be delayed depending on the current system conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Reports will be rerun and reposted as applicable. The MIS Dashboards and price displays will not be populated with data during this timeframe.
