SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Initial and Final determination of RMR status for South Texas Electric Cooperative Inc., RAYBURN_RAYBURG3

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  April 4, 2012

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On February 28, 2012, ERCOT received Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

• South Texas Electric Cooperative Inc. – RAYBURN_RAYBURG3

ERCOT has completed its review and is issuing its initial determination that this Resource is not required to support ERCOT System reliability. Pursuant to Section 3.14.1.2(5), this Notice will also serve as the final determination, and the Resource may be decommissioned or retired according to the schedule in its NSO.

ACTION REQUIRED:  ERCOT has posted the analysis performed to arrive at its determination on the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area on the Grid/Generation page under Reliability Must Run at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation. An ERCOT digital certificate is required to access the MIS.
