LONG DESCRIPTION: The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC)
Transmission System Information Network (TSIN) Registry, currently used by Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) to schedule flows over DC ties
in ERCOT, is going to be replaced by the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) Web Registry. This project is being sponsored and transitioned from NERC to OATI by the NAESB.
The registration phase began on March 19, 2012, and ERCOT has registered itself as a Transmission Service Provider (TSP), Balancing Authority (BA) and Reliability Coordinator (RC) in the new OATI Web Registry. The registration period ends
on May 14, 2012. The tentative date of the first publication of OATI Web Registry is May 14, 2012.
ACTION REQUIRED: QSEs
who schedule flows over DC ties
in ERCOT are required to register with the new registry in order to continue scheduling flows over DC ties once this transition is complete.
