SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation details of NPRR351

LONG DESCRIPTION: On June 28, 2012, ERCOT will implement Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 351, SCED Look-Ahead Step 1: Pricing: Calculate Non-Binding Prices and Base Points for Initial Research into SCED Look-Ahead and allow Consumers to have a Forward Price Projection (formerly “Calculate and Post Projected Non-Binding LMPs for the Next 15 Minutes”), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on December 12, 2011. NPRR351 is the first phase of the Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) Look-Ahead project. NPRR351 will allow ERCOT to calculate future indicative non-binding prices and base points for at least 15 minutes into the future. These non-binding calculated prices and base points may eventually become binding in future phases of the SCED Look-Ahead project.
