SHORT DESCRIPTION:  REMINDER – Implementation details of NPRR451

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  June 28, 2012

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On June 1, 2012, ERCOT implemented Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 451, Implementation of New P.U.C. SUBST. Rule 25.507, Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Emergency Response Service (ERS), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on April 17, 2012 (see Notice M-A051612-01 below for further details).

The implementation of NPRR451 will cause the names of several Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) reports to be updated to reflect the new name of the service, ERS. The data contained in the reports posted since June 1, 2012, satisfy Protocol requirements but have been identified under the old service name. The link names for the associated reports on the ERCOT website and on the Market Information System (MIS) will be changed to reflect the name change on June 28, 2012. The attached file contains a list of the associated link changes for reference.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  NPRR451 and associated documents can be found on the ERCOT website, under Market Rules, at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/issues/nprr/451-475/451/index.
