LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT’s retail release of TX SET 4.0 scheduled for this weekend has been delayed until next weekend, June 8 – 11, 2012. ERCOT is exercising the current contingency option in the TX SET 4.0 Implementation Plan due to a critical system failure at CenterPoint Energy. The tentative schedule for next week is in the table below. CenterPoint will be providing status updates on their recovery efforts through daily market notices and on the market conference call scheduled for 10:00 CPT on Monday, June 4, 2012.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  An updated full implementation plan will be communicated following confirmation of the contingency date.  The following information is related to the Safety Net process for Move-Ins. The dates are contingent on final migration schedule.

 

  Beginning Friday, June 8 at 08:00 CPT, the CRs will utilize the approved Safety Net process during implementation with a default BGN02 value to request Move-Ins with requested dates during migration period. If the REP cannot include the actual BGN02, the BGN02 must use the following format (cannot exceed 30 characters):

÷  First 3 spaces=  V40

÷  Next 3 spaces= Abbreviated CR name

÷  Then followed by a unique number for each transaction

 

  CRs will be required to follow up with the corrected BGN02 on a Safety Net correction to the TDSP once their actual BGN02 is available.

  TDSPs will no longer accept default BGN values on Monday, June 11 at 08:00 CPT or as soon as Texas SET Version 4.0 transactions begin to flow.

The ERCOT planned retail release scheduled for this weekend has been delayed until next weekend. Any previously planned activities for Friday, June 1 excluding the 10:00 conference call will no longer take place.

 

The four hour switch hold workaround will not be utilized on June 1 as previously planned.

 

All market participants are required to attend the 10:00 conference call scheduled for Friday, June 1 to discuss the revised schedule and address all questions.
