SHORT DESCRIPTION:  The Profile Decision Tree has been updated as required for the 2012 Annual Validation of the Load Profile Type.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Profile Decision Tree, which is Appendix D of the ERCOT Load Profiling Guide, contains information about the process of assigning a profile ID to an ESI ID. 

At its June 7, 2012 meeting, the ERCOT Technical Advisory Committee approved an annual update to the Profile Decision Tree. The update consists of including an additional year of usage history for residential profile segment determination and moving the usage history period forward one year for business ESI IDs for the same.

The updates have been incorporated into v1.4 of the 2012 Profile Decision Tree, posted at http://www.ercot.com/mktrules/guides/loadprofiling/current as “Appendix D: Profile Decision Tree (effective June 18, 2012)”.
