SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation details for NPRR407

LONG DESCRIPTION: During the planned release window from December 3 – 6, 2012, ERCOT will implement Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 407, Credit Monitoring Posting Requirements (formerly “Credit Monitoring Credit Parameters Posting Requirements”), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on February 21, 2012.

NPRR407 adds requirements for ERCOT to post detailed information regarding the Available Credit Limit (ACL) usage in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) to the Market Information System (MIS) Certified Area, which will aid Market Participants in managing their DAM transactions within their limits.

NPRR407 adds two new certified reports that will be posted on the MIS on the Services landing page, in the Credit Monitoring Reports portlet. The DAM Aggregate Credit Exposure report will be posted daily after the DAM results are posted and will provide each active Counter-Party’s calculated aggregate DAM credit exposure. The DAM Remaining Available Credit Limit by Counter Party report will post every 15 minutes from 08:00 until 09:45 and will provide each active Counter-Party’s remaining ACL for that day’s DAM and the time at which the report was run. Further information on the new reports is provided in the table below.
