NOTICE TYPE: R-A120812-01 Retail Processing
SHORT DESCRIPTION: Due to a system issue, some retail transactions failed to process at ERCOT.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: CRs and TDSPs
DAY AFFECTED: Friday, December 7, 2012 at approximately 23:50 through Saturday, December 8, 2012 at approximately 09:15
LONG DESCRIPTION: During the time specified, ERCOT was unable to accept some North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) transactions, because of an issue with a NAESB proxy server.
The processing of files submitted through the impacted proxy server would have failed, while all other files submitted would have processed normally.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The proxy server issue was resolved and normal processing resumed.
