SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Change to the NAESB servers at ERCOT – New IP of 66.128.16.102

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  Effective December 9, 2012 at 20:00

LONG DESCRIPTION: Please note that at 20:00 yesterday, December 9, 2012, ERCOT made a change to the NAESB servers. This change could have affected market participants’ NAESB systems ability to receive responses from ERCOT. 

This change was made during the scheduled maintenance outage from 12:00 to 20:30 on Sunday, December 9, 2012.

This change will not impact how market participants NAESB systems currently send files to ERCOT.  The new information for this server change is:

naesb.ercot.com – no change

Old Public IP: 66.128.17.102 – no longer in use

New Public IP: 66.128.16.102

Port: 7403 – no change

ACTION REQUIRED: All Market Participants that receive files via NAESB must ensure their systems allow transactions from the new IP address (66.128.16.102).
