LONG DESCRIPTION:  To support our goals of fostering fair and competitive electrical markets, maintaining system reliability and enabling retail choice, ERCOT provides training based on the market rules that govern our operations. The ERCOT Training curriculum includes a wide variety of courses ranging from general introductions to deeper explorations of specific market topics and processes.

The location and schedule of the courses that are currently scheduled are shown below:

Load Serving Entity 201

This new and improved version of the Load Serving Entity (LSE) 201 course addresses the wholesale market costs associated with serving load in ERCOT and introduces several tools available for managing these costs. LSE 201 illustrates the use of these tools through multiple scenario-based examples. The course also provides an opportunity for class participants to apply these tools within the classroom setting.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  To enroll in a course, go to the ERCOT Training website at http://www.ercot.com/services/training/. Select the course you are interested in attending. On the “Schedule/Registration” tab, select the “Enroll Online” link under “REGISTRATION” to register for the course.
