SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Annual Congestion Management Plans Review

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Transmission Operators, and/or Resource Entities with Transmission Facilities, impacted by existing Congestion Management Plans

DAY AFFECTED:  March 18, 2013

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is initiating its annual Congestion Management Plans Review which includes Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Mitigation Plans (MPs), and Pre-Contingency Action Plans (PCAPs).  The study case that will be used for this review has been posted on the Planning and Operations Information site at this link:

http://planning.ercot.com/data/opsreview/

Transmission Operators, and or Resource Entities with Transmission Facilities, impacted by existing Congestion Management Plans are urged to review the case and provide comments and updates to ERCOT by March 18, 2013.

Transmission Operators and or Resource Entities with Bulk Electric System (BES) elements specified as a part of approved or proposed Congestion Management Plans will need to provide the “Relay Limitations” for the BES elements to ERCOT for the 2013 Annual Congestion Management Plans Review.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Review study case and provide required information and updates by March 18.
