SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Extension of requirement to submit user defined PSS/e Version 33 dynamic models to December 31, 2013

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Resource Entities

DAY AFFECTED:  December 31, 2013

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT communicated on May 14, 2013 with Resource Entities that have equipment that is represented with user defined dynamic models in DWG base cases for PSS/e version 32 that the ERCOT Steady State Working Group (SSWG) had announced that new base case development will now use PSS/e version 33.  The ERCOT Dynamics Working Group (DWG) will also progress to PSS/e version 33 for their base case building efforts. 

The updated model (PSS/e standard model if applicable or user defined model with model libraries) compatible with PSS/e version 33 for your equipment was originally due prior to August 31, 2013.

The DWG and ERCOT, with approval from the Reliability Operations Subcommittee (ROS), have agreed to extend the due date for updated models to December 31, 2013.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please submit any user defined PSS/e Version 33 compatible dynamic models to ERCOT via an updated Resource Asset Registration Form (RARF) by December 31, 2013.

Resources without a user defined model need not submit any updates.
