LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 1, 2013, ERCOT will implement phase 2 of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 509, Shortened RTM Settlement Timeline.
NPRR509, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on March 19, 2013, reduces the posting date for the Initial Settlement Statement from nine days after the Operating Day to seven days after the Operating Day, and reduces the posting date of
the Final Settlement Statement from the 59th day after the Operating Day to the 57th day after the Operating Day. Phase one reduced the posting requirement for the Initial Settlement Statement to eight days after the Operating Day, starting with Operating
Day April 1, 2013.
Effective August 1, 2013, Phase 2 will further reduce the posting date for the Initial Settlement Statement from eight days after the Operating Day to seven days after the Operating Day, and will also reduce the posting date of the Final
Settlement Statement from the 59th day after the Operating Day to the 57th day after the Operating Day. The first affected RTM Initial Settlement Statement is for Operating Day August 1, 2013 and will be posted on August 8, 2013.
Accordingly, ERCOT will un-box the associated language in following Nodal Protocol Sections effective August 1, 2013:

9.5.2, Settlement Statements for the RTM
9.5.4, RTM Initial Statement
9.5.5, RTM Final Statement
In relation to this updated RTM Settlement timeline, the Settlement Calendar has been updated and can be found under Current Information section in

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
