SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details for NPRR479, Hourly Reporting of Resource Outaged Capacity (formerly “Daily Net Outage MW”)

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Between September 23 - 27, 2013, ERCOT will implement Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 479, Hourly Reporting of Resource Outaged Capacity (formerly “Daily Net Outage MW”), which was approved by the ERCOT Board on December 11, 2012.
NPRR479 requires ERCOT to post a total system-wide capacity of Resource Outages that are accepted or approved.  The Resource Outage capacity amount will be aggregated on a system-wide basis and based on each Resource’s current Seasonal High Sustained Limit (HSL).  The data will be posted hourly covering the next 168 hours.
NPRR479 adds a new public report that will be posted on the Market Information System (MIS) on the Grid-Generation landing page, in the Public Generation Information portlet. Further information on the new reports is provided in the table below.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
