SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation of market-facing changes for September 2013 – Removal of NPRR416

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  September 23 – 27, 2013

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be implementing a number of market-facing changes in the production environment on September 23 – 27, 2013. Please see the attached spreadsheet for the description and estimate of the release date for each change.

Please note that the attached list of market-facing changes has been revised to remove NPRR416.  Please see M-B113012-05 for more details.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT may experience intermittent service interruptions during the implementation period. The systems include, but are not limited to:

• Market Participant notifications
• Outage Scheduler User Interface

o During this outage, please use https://mis.ercot.com/osrui/osrui/Summary.action to directly access the Outage Scheduler

• Market Management System User Interface

o During this outage, please use https://mis.ercot.com/mmsui/mmsui/displayTradesLanding.action to directly access the Market Manager

• Market Participant Identity Management (MPIM)
• Components of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) including:

o Report publishing to the MIS

o Current Day Reports (CDRs) without retry functionality may not be rerun for the missed postings during the outage

o MIS and ERCOT.com dashboards

• Components of the External Web Services (EWS) may be intermittently unavailable
• Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability Systems (NDCRC)
