SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update on implementation for NPRR484 (Revisions to CRR Credit Calculations and Payments)

LONG DESCRIPTION: This update provides information on the implementation status of Phase 1A of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 484, Revisions to Congestion Revenue Rights Credit Calculations and Payments, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on March 19, 2013. NPRR484 replaces the Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction credit exposure calculations with path-specific exposure calculations based on Day-Ahead Market (DAM) clearing prices over a rolling period and modifies the payment schedule for CRRs.

The project is currently in the Execution phase with a target go-live of October 21, 2013, for Phase 1A scope; however, performance issues are putting the target go-live date at risk. While plans for Market testing remain intact at this time, any changes to the current schedule will be confirmed by September 27, 2013.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
