Data created or posted into ERCOT’s system after December 17, 2013 will not be included in the data request output files until the technical issues are resolved. ERCOT continues work on the software issue with the replication of data from its financial settlement system into its data warehouse in which replication of some market data sets causes significant decrease in performance resulting in delayed publication of extracts and potentially impacting Market Data Transparency Web Services. ERCOT continues to work with its vendor to investigate the reason for the delayed processing of the data sets in question by its replication system. The replication system has completed processing of the data set that caused significant delays in processing earlier this week. ERCOT expects the backlog to decrease and to progress towards publication of extracts at normal levels in the next few days but data sets similar to the ones that caused the delays may reverse this trend until the root cause of the software issue is identified. ERCOT will provide another update on the processing of data extracts as well as its effort to find a resolution on Monday December 23, 2013. Delays in publication of the above data extracts impact Market Participants reconciling retail market transactions as well as loading of reference tables and settlement input data into shadow settlement systems needed to validate Settlement Statements in a timely manner. Note that the Commercial Operating Day Extract (CODE) and Market Operating Day Extract (MODE) containing approved settlement input data used in publication of settlement statements are anticipated to post timely.
