SHORT DESCRIPTION: Change in the file naming convention for the Monthly Resource Energy Deployment Performance Report

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: February 9, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION: In support of the underlying database changes to provide consistency in file naming conventions, ERCOT will implement a change to the report file naming convention for NP8-501-ER, Monthly Resource Energy Deployment Performance Report. This report currently posts with a five-digit report type id in the second token of the filename. This implementation will include a three-digit zero padding within the second token of the filename to adhere to consistent filename standards with all other reports and extracts within the MIR database.

This eight- digit report type id in the second token will be seen in all previously posted files available on the MIS as well as all files posted going forward from the February 9, 2014 implementation date. This change impacts files downloaded both from the Market Information System (MIS) as well as External Web Services (EWS) GetReports.

The format of the file name is changing from:

‘rpt.11022.DUNSNUMBER.YYYYMMDD.hhmmss.REDP_M.xlsx’

to:

‘rpt.00011022.DUNSNUMBER.YYYYMMDD.hhmmss.REDP_M.xlsx’

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Monthly Resource Energy Deployment Performance Report will continue to be posted in its current location. There is no change to the file formatting or to the report IDs. Please note that this report does not post on the same day each month. The report for January data (posted in February) will contain the 8-digit report type ID in the second token.
