SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Update to the CRR Network Model for the May 2014 Monthly Auction

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders

DAY AFFECTED:  March 27, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has posted an updated Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Auction Network Model for the May 2014 Monthly Auction to reflect the below changes.

·         The Non-Thermal Constraints file was updated to lower the Valley import limit (VALIMP) from 924 MW to 774 MW to reflect operational limits and practices.

·         The Monitored Lines and Transformers file was updated to revert back from Emergency Rating = 9999 MW to Emergency Rating = 750 MW or 758 MW for facilities protected by the Collin Switch SPS. This SPS will be temporarily disabled on March 28, 2014, due to project-related construction (further details were provided in the operations Market Notice M-A031814-01, sent on March 18, 2014).  

The updated model for the May 2014 Monthly Auction is available through the CRR application and on the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.
