SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update - Annual Constraint Management Plans Review

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Transmission Operators, and/or Resource Entities with Transmission Facilities, impacted by existing Constraint Management Plans or proposal of new Constraint Management Plans

DAY AFFECTED: March 24, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has posted the final study case that will be used review Constraint Management Plans which includes Remedial Action Plans (RAPs), Mitigation Plans (MPs), and Pre-Contingency Action Plans (PCAPs), on the Planning and Operations Information site. Additionally, all Constraint Management Plans (existing and recently proposed) that are being reviewed as a part of this effort are posted on the Market Information System at the Long-Term Planning page of the Market Information System (MIS).

If there are any case updates or Constraint Management Plans proposals for 2014 that are yet to be sent, these should be sent to ERCOT by March 24, 2014.

Transmission Operators and/or Resource Entities with Bulk Electric System (BES) elements specified as a part of approved or proposed Constraint Management Plans will need to provide the “Relay Limitations” for the BES elements to ERCOT for the 2014 Annual Constraint Management Plans Review.

ACTION REQUIRED: Review and provide required information by March 24, 2014.
