LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has completed the transition of the impacted systems and affected services to the alternate data center and expects Retail Transaction Processing to be operational this afternoon.
Business verification of all impacted systems is in progress on the following market-facing systems:

*         MPIM

*         MarketTrak API

*         MIS Retail
ERCOT will provide an update on the recovery from the outage including the timing on resumption of retail transaction processing at a conference call with Market Participants scheduled for 2:00 PM.

Market Management System (MMS), Energy Management System (EMS), Outage Scheduler (OS), ERCOT.com and the Market Information System (MIS) are functioning and accessible.
AMS meter data and LSE file processing:
ERCOT systems currently have over 99.9% of the AMS Meter Data loaded for the next two initial settlement runs.  Data aggregation will run for Operating Day March 7, 2014 tonight (March 12, 2014) and for Operating Day March 8, 2014 tomorrow night (March 13, 2014).
The ERCOT data loading process for AMS meter data LSE files is self-regulating and has a two-step process. In the first step, files are loaded from the NAESB servers to Lodestar.  This logic is threaded by TDSP and DOES NOT look at time or date loaded. The process continually looks for files and moves the files to Lodestar.  Upon restoration of ERCOT Systems, if a TDSP desires to have older data loaded into ERCOT systems first, the AMS Meter LSE file submittals should be staggered by 30 minutes to allow for processing time between the files (i.e. submit data for operating date March 9, 2014, then wait 30 minutes before submitting data for operating day March 10, 2014 and so on).   In the second step, Lodestar loads files in the order they are received from NAESB.
ACTION REQUIRED:  When ERCOT resumes processing through the alternate data center, ERCOT will change the public IP addresses of some market facing services.  This change could impact market participants' ability to access those services, or receive responses from them.
NOTE: All Market Participants that transmit files via NAESB must ensure their systems can send and receive transactions from the new IP addresses.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Pursuant to Protocol Section 9.1.4, Settlement Statement and Invoice Timing, ERCOT has posted Settlement Statements and Invoices that were due to post by midnight today.
Answers to the ERCOT action items from today's 3:30 PM Retail Market call are:

1.    Date Processing:
A Same Day Switch transaction will be processed for the date the transaction was received in the registration system. The transaction needs to be processed before the end of Retail Business Hours in order for it to be processed the same day. ERCOT does not change the dates on these transactions.  If the market participant sends a transaction with a specified date and time then it will be processed for that date in the system.

2.    Backlog Processing:
Transactions will be processed pursuant to Protocol Section 15 (6), Customer Registration.

3.    As information becomes available, the public IP addresses of some market facing services may change and will be provided at that time.  This change could impact market participants' ability to access those services, or receive responses from them.
