LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT continues efforts to transition the impacted systems and affected services to the alternate data center.  Systems are not expected to be fully restored prior to the start of business tomorrow, March 12, 2014. An update will be provided during tomorrow’s 9:00 AM Market Call.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

Pursuant to Protocol Section 9.1.4, Settlement Statement and Invoice Timing, ERCOT has posted Settlement Statements and Invoices that were due to post by midnight today.

Answers to the ERCOT action items from today’s 3:30 PM Retail Market call are:

1.    Date Processing:

A Same Day Switch transaction will be processed for the date the transaction was received in the registration system. The transaction needs to be processed before the end of Retail Business Hours in order for it to be processed the same day. ERCOT does not change the dates on these transactions.  If the market participant sends a transaction with a specified date and time then it will be processed for that date in the system.   

2.    Backlog Processing:

Transactions will be processed pursuant to Protocol Section 15 (6), Customer Registration.

3.    As information becomes available, the public IP addresses of some market facing services may change and will be provided at that time.  This change could impact market participants’ ability to access those services, or receive responses from them.
