SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT to provide training related to the implementation of the Operating Reserve Demand Curve (ORDC)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 568 and other related Protocols revisions will create a Real-Time Reserve Price Adder Based on an Operating Reserve Demand Curve (ORDC).  To prepare Market Participants for this substantial market change, ERCOT will conduct three workshops during the month of April.  All three workshops will include the same topics, but are being offered in the Houston, Dallas and Austin areas in order to reach out to the greatest number of Market Participants.

a.     Purpose of ORDC

b.    Overview of changes

c.     Calculation of On-line Reserve Price Adder

d.    Settlement Impacts

                                          i.    Generation and Load Resources

                                         ii.    Energy and Ancillary Services

2.     Overview of  ORDC-related data on MIS

3.     Q&A with Panel of Experts
