SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation of changes to the ERCOT Market Information Repository (MIR)
INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: April 14, 2014 from 15:30 through 19:30
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has encountered intermittent delays in the posting of a subset of certified CDR reports since the Sunday, April 13, 2014 Phase 1 implementation of the Information Content Exchange (ICE) system. Due to the increasing latency in file postings, ERCOT is accelerating its scheduled ICE Phase 2 implementation. ERCOT will implement ICE Phase 2 beginning at 3:30 pm Monday, April 14, 2014. Market Participants may experience intermittent service interruptions and/or notice slight posting delays during the cutover.
The most prevalent file posting delays are for the following certified reports:

* NP8-143-CD, QSE Ancillary Services Capacity Monitor, Report Type ID 11025

* NP6-971-CD, RTD Indicative Base Points by Resources, Report Type ID 13074
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The systems affected include, but are not limited to:

* Components of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) including:

o Report publishing and downloading

o Current Day Reports (CDRs) without retry functionality may not be rerun for the missed postings during the outage

o MIS and ERCOT.com dashboards and search functionality

* Components of the External Web Services (EWS)

o Submissions should not be impacted during this time

Phase 3, for MIR/ICE systems file naming convention changes, is still scheduled to be implemented on April 22, 2014. Please see the original Market Notice M-B021914-01 for details.
