SHORT DESCRIPTION:  New Generation Forum offered for prospective generators

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Interconnecting Entities with new or prospective generation projects

DAY AFFECTED:  May 28 and 29, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be hosting a New Generation Forum for prospective generators on May 28 and 29, 2014.  This forum is intended for entities that will be starting the interconnection process with new generation projects.  The forum will take place over the course of two days.  Day 1 is an overview of the entire process, from the submission of a request for a Screening Study through Commercial Operation.  Day 2 will focus on specific topics in the interconnection study processes.  The forum is offered to help familiarize generator developers with the process and provide a roadmap of the workflow and an overview of the tools available.  A tentative agenda is attached. It is not required to attend both days, although it is recommended.

ACTION REQUIRED:  To reserve a seat to attend one of the workshops in person, please use the RSVP link on the ERCOT calendar.  Please be sure to RSVP to ensure access to the facility if attending in person.
