SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Temporary loss of “Submit Matching Trade” functionality in the Market Manager User Interface
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has discovered that system changes related to the implementation of NPRR555, Load Resource Participation in Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch, resulted in the loss of the “Submit Matching Trade” functionality in the Market Manager User Interface beginning on May 29, 2014.  The “Submit Matching Trade” functionality is one way for QSEs to confirm trades that have been submitted by other QSEs and are awaiting confirmation. QSEs using this functionality view the unconfirmed trades in the Market Manager User Interface and press the “Submit Matching Trade” button to send a copy of the relevant data from unconfirmed trades to ERCOT to create matching trades.
To confirm trades using the Market Manager prior to the restoration of the “Submit Matching Trade” functionality, QSEs should submit new trades by copying the appropriate trade information from the unconfirmed trades into the appropriate create trade screen.  Please see the attached document for details on the Market Manager screens with the “Submit Matching Trade” functionality and the workaround.
ERCOT will send a follow-up market notice when the functionality is restored which will be as soon as possible.
