SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Settlement Point LEON_LCP4G4 will be retired as of the Operating Day of July 9, 2014

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  July 9, 2014

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Settlement Point LEON_LCP4G4 will be retired from ERCOT’s Network Operations Model as of the Operating Day of July 9, 2014. ERCOT’s Network Operations Model will be updated to reflect the retirement of the LEON_LCP4G4 Settlement Point at approximately 00:01 on July 9, 2014.  Once loading of the updated model is completed, the Market Management System will automatically reject any market submissions at LEON_LCP4G4.  This Settlement Point is non-biddable for the July 2014 CRR Auction.

In addition, ERCOT will manually remove any DAM bids and offers at LEON_LCP4G4 for Operating Days July 9, 2014 and beyond that are placed prior to execution of the DAM at 10:00 on July 8, 2014.  This is necessary because the DAM does not have the capability to reject offers and bids submitted at Settlement Points that will be retired in a future Network Operations Model.

Similarly, before executing Settlements, ERCOT will manually remove any confirmed trades for Operating Days July 9, 2014 and beyond that include the LEON_LCP4G4 Settlement Point.
